CheeseMaking 101

Easy Chevre Cheese

Here’s the directions:
Heat a gallon of pasteurized milk to 86 degrees F.
Add and mix in 1 packet of direct set culture.
Let set at room temperature for 12 hours or until thickened (like yogurt thick).
Ladle curd into cheesecloth lined colander.
Hang and drain 6-12 hours.
