I Can't Take Him Anywhere

Wednesday while having his semi serviced at one of the company trucking terminals the better half sat in the driver’s lounge and called home to check in. One of his questions was "How are the kids?" So we chatted about the new twins for a bit before ending the conversation. About 30 minutes or so later he calls back laughing so hard I could barely understand him.

He says, you know I am sitting here in the driver’s lounge. I say yes. Still laughing he says there was another driver here earlier when I called. He said, "after I hung up from talking to you, the guy says you have kids?" The better half said I told him yes, twins just born Monday. The other driver says why aren’t you home? Better half says to the other driver, "aww it isn’t a big deal don’t need to be home for that."

LOL, too funny! That reminds of our first kidding and lambing season, I called an elderly lady's house to tell my Mom that Bunny had babies, we renamed our Nigerian Dwarf doe that and she said to my Mom, "Amy just called and said something about Bunnies!"

That is funny! Reminds me of the one time we had a real problem with a goat birth and had to take the doe to the vet. (She had quads, two lived and two were still born) Anyway, first we tried to reposition the kids, when I got too frustrated, Jamey would try. He ended up having to call into work and he told them the reason. Somehow it got all changed around from one person to the next, and from the office to the floor of the plant and by the time he got back to work they thought he had taken off work to deliver twins..his OWN children! LOL! Funny how things can change passed on from one person to the next.
