You're MUCH more thorough than I ~ I wouldn't have bothered to clean/sand/and paint the old table!;-)
It's coming along nicely - can't wait to see it all finished. It will make a lovely skirting table :)
Goes almost without saying, I think it looks great!

Old table frame, before, being cleaned and sanded. 
With the new coat of paint.
